He'd heard that this kind of thing could cripple a person for life if they weren't careful. It required a body that could adapt to the stress, and a mind to utilise the potential uses. To be honest it was probably one of the most simple. Five times the gravity of Earth in one large room. It was an interesting prospect to say the least.
And he didn't want to fall behind, since he knew that every day he went without training was a day for someone else to do so. They'd improve while he wasted time. That was why we was gonna risk it. He double checked to see that he had the right room, and he was pretty sure he got it right. He didn't want to accidentally wander into the 15 times gravity room right across the hall.
He watched as the mechanized door to the 5 times gravity room opened up, and he walked on in. He looked for the control panel, and found it in short order. He had already been taught how to use it by the staff in charge of the center, and as such he knew which switches to flip. Add a few button presses and the machine started a small hum, thought it grew louder as the seconds passed by.
Heading into the center of the room he breathed in. Then out, then in again, and out again. He tensed as the hum started to grow into a roar. When the machine started it would do a countdown, to give Jonny a few more chances to back out if he wanted. From there it would increase gravity to two times, then three, four, and lastly five. It would be at that last level of intensity that Meraxa's training would begin.
Plus if he did gravity training at this level, it would make the stress of arriving on a planet that also had higher gravity a lot less painful. He heard that were even a few planets that had 100 times the gravity of Earth. If he went to those kind of places he'd be crushed instantly. Plus before the planet was blown up, Vegeta used to have a gravity ten times that of Earth, just living there made training a lot more profitable for its inhabitants. "Well, here we go."

"5..." The computer started, Meraxa's anxiety about how tough this would be always ringing at the back of his head. "4..." Just a few more seconds, and he'd be feeling a whole other level of gravity. "3..." Wait, would the gravity force his hair down too? It should, afterall he wasn't a saiyan or anything with that indestructable hair of theirs. "2..." This machine wasn't going to be getting a 'stop' anytime soon, he hadn't even started. "1..."
"Zero." The computer stated as suddenly everything that was part of, or was on Meraxa from his eyebrows to his boots felt like it was being pulled to the ground. From there the 'pull' only continued to get stronger, with Meraxa having to use all of his strength to not snap his spinal chord. "Just... a little... more..." He gasped, breathing and speaking was getting harder too.
And with one last major increase to the 'pull', it seemed that he had reached five times gravity. Swell. "Lets see... what I can... move." He said as he tried to wriggle a few fingers and lift a foot. The fingers felt like they were gonna snap off whilst the foot slammed back down when it only got a centimeter off the floor. He certainly had his work cut out for him today.
Alright, he had to get used to just moving. He'd just tested a few things, so he had the basic idea of what he could do right now. He lifted his foot off the ground again, and grasping it with his arms he tried to keep it up. His foot shook along with the rest of his body as it attempted to resist the gravity. And after a few seconds, his body just couldn't hold any longer and he let go.
He did the same with the other leg, this time slightly easier than the first. He continued to repeat this until he could finally move his legs in a way that made it possible to walk straight. Well, he had that part down. What would he do for training this time around? "I guess my martial arts would be the best idea right now." He said to himself as he got into a fighting stance.

He punched the air, again and again. Left, right, left, right, he continued to repeat the simple sequence. Yet even as time passed, the strikes continued to strain as much as those before - not good. The skin wasn't taking the toll too well either, maybe he had to reconsider the idea of doing his martial arts first. "Especially since my body is practically unable to cope." He sighed as he gave in to his body's demands, and stopped.
He walked slowly towards a nearby bench, to grab a bottle of water and relax. However he then found that what had originally been a simple 2 litre bottle felt like 10. Great, now what was it gonna feel like going down his throat? Tad bit painful, that would be the words he'd choose, as the liquid pounded down his tongue and into his stomach, which wasn't used to it along with everything else in his body. Now he knew - he could drink fine, just would hurt a bit.
But yeah, if his body needed to be hardened some more before he tried practicing his martial arts, he had to get to work. But his arms were already stressed as it was, so it would have to be the legs for a while. He stood up, and placed his hands behind his head, before squatting up and down. His legs would bend, his body drop, and then do the opposite. He did ten of them, before stopping, and relaxing for a bit. A few minutes passed, and he returned to doing the squats, this time 15 of them.
By this point strength had returned to his arms, and he was ready to work with them again. This time when he squatted down, he placed his arms on the floor, and shot his feet back like one would in a pushup. From there he pulled the legs back in, and jumped up, lather, rinse and repeat. A grand total of 25 would do, and thus he began. Squat, thrust, jump, squat, thrust, jump. Unfortunately it was still real tiring real quick, and he had to stop before he got past #19.
And thus back to the bench it was, with him taking another drink of water, the sting of it not bothering him at this point. Why would it when every other bit of him was aching? He sat there for a while, contemplating. Why did he always do this to himself? Everytime he would push himself to the limit, one day his body would probably just fail altogether at this rate. And why would he want that?
