Once back in the training ring he let his power rise to its peak. Energy cased his body as his mind flooded with all that was going on. His anger rose and rose, boiling within him on why things had to happen now. His energy pulsed around him as he lashed out at target after target. If he lost her....all hell would break loose and he would loose himself to his anger. His people would suffer for the longest time. He didn't know when he would settle out of that grief and return to make good on his promises to her.
With each destroyed target his energy seemed to grow hotter and stronger. As did his anger and fear. Fear was something he never really felt untill now. And it was something he didn't like at all. His speed increased as he moved from one to another lashing out with punches, kicks, and ki blasts. He would find a healer and try to get her better. He could at least make her comfortable and treat her normally. He would probably get a good scolding if he tried to make her stay inside and rest all the time. Thinking of that he smiled and floating into the center of the training ring he crossed his arms and pushed his energy out in a large explosive wave of energy. Destroying the remaining targets and thus calming himself down. Now tired he sighed and headed for the palace.

She lifted her head hearing him training even though she was in her garden. She sighed slightly knowing he would be upset and he had every right to be. She'd made peace with herself and with what was happening to her. What she didn't approve of was their position in this growing talk of war on Maelthra. She personally believed in the Divine but many people where being swayed not to and she knew it could only lead to bad things. She lowered her head as she cut some flowers since they smelled nice and set them on her lap to make a bunch.

Once he was in the palace he altered his desired path. He had planned to go straight to his study to look through his books for medicinal remedies and then look through the list of healers in his kingdom. But on a long forgotten pull his path turned him into a hallway rarely used by him since the death of his parents. Stopping at one door he removed his Axe and set it down, along with the cloak he wore. Then he entered the room and went to its center.
Here he looked at a long ago carged statue of the Divine. He knelt down and sighed deeply. He never really cared or beileived in the Divine himself but respected the people enough to keep his own opinion to himself. Here he began to pray. He prayed for the one person that was holding this kingdom together, for help in what was comeing. Oddly enough he felt calm while here, and it was indeed too long since he had been here.

Caring for her flowers was really all she had to do during the hours she was up moving around, but sudden fatigue set in as she slowly put a hand to the bench as she sat herself down, just short of breath as she rested her other hand against her chest. She had been hiding the fact she was getting weaker daily from her husband, but knew now that he knew she was ill, he would notice more.

When he finished his prayers he stood and slowly left the room. He was calmer at least but still scared. He didn't want to loose Kitara so soon. After putting his cloak and axe back on he left the hallway and went into the secondary building held for teaching and research. He checked each room as he passed, looking for the historian and the medician teacher. He knew now she was ill, but how badly he didn't know fully. It had to be bad for her to make him promise what he had.

She eventually got the strength to get to her feet as she took a deep breath before sighing. She started to head inside again, holding her hands in front of her as she walked. She spotted her husband glancing into rooms as he moved down the hall. She wanted to call out for him, but found herself unable to speak out to him.

He felt something pull at him. He stopped a moment to see what it might have been but couldn't feel it again. With a sigh he looked into the library and found the historian. He tapped the door and then entered. He hoped the old man knew of any rare books on medicines and healers for the fire kingdom. But that pull he had felt...what could that have been?

She looked away before slowly continuing down the hall to the room she and Novakon had called their own. She shut the door silently behind her as she felt a chill despite the hot blood rushing through her veins. She moved over to a chair by the window and picked up a warm shawl before wrapping it around her shoulders and took a seat by the window.

He spoke awhile with the historian and found little in what he was seeking. But enough maybe to help in his search. He left and began looking for the healer and felt that soft tug again. Something was....different and off. He had never felt this particular pull before but other than it makeing him curious he felt....warm and inviteing. He found the healer in his medicine room and began talking with him.

All the while his wife had found some comfort in sewing some new clothes for her beloved husband. She had a feeling he was going to be wearing himself thin attempting to find a way to make her well and worried about how he would take it if it all turned out to be failed attempts. Her fingers where sore at the joints but she continued to make her fine stitching as she sighed softly to herself. She pricked her finger on a needle as a few drops of her blood dripped onto the floor as she sat by the window.

After some time had passed he had grown tired. Searching books and talking with the two elders he was at his end. He stood with what little answers he could find and made his way to the badchambers. As he walked in he managed a smile seeing her and nods as he set the papers on his desk and then walked over and kissed her neck tenderly.

She looked up when he entered the room, her eyes looking away from her pricked finger as he walked up to her and gingerly placed a kiss on her neck, “Novakon” She said to him as she lifted her head slightly, “Novakon I think… I’m with child… call it intuition” She said to him as she stood slowly and lifted her now finished product, “I made this for you… fine clothes for you to wear for the people… your bound to look handsome in them” She told him softly as she blushed.

He smiled softly and tilted his head at what she had said. His brow creased as he tried to think about what she just said, and not about clothes either. " With....child? " He could barely speak as it was for if she was, it would explain why she wasn't herself, and would be cause for great celebration. this hope flashed through his eyes and his face. " you should see the doctor then, find out for sure. "

She looked up at him as she didn’t seem nearly as thrilled about it as he did. She was worried because she knew if she was going to leave this world there was a good chance it would be during the attempt to give life to another. Her pricking of her finger felt like an omen that she would die this way and it made her heart feel like it sunk into her stomach. “… Novakon… I get a bad feeling about it… I am sorry I can’t share your excitement…”

He knelt beside her and held her hands. He kissed her hands softly as he looked to her. " I am excited that it is possible my love. But I am more afraid than ever. That is why you must see the doctor to find out for sure. If you are with child it will make my choice of action the easier. If you are with child but it is not the cause of your illness then it could mean....." He swallowed and shook his head not wanting to speak what he thought. " See the doctor in the morning, i'll accompany you there. We have found afew things that may help but.....they are not in our kingdome. "
He sighed and held her hands against his cheek. He enjoyed the feel of her against his skin and the way her being near soothed him. But still he was afraid and determined to help return her to health at all costs. He wasn't sure he could handle another loss in his life. For all the warrior and hot headed person he was, loseing ones he loved was more devestating to him than loseing a battle.
