He reluctantly turned away from her. It had become apparent that he would persist with his little game. Celeria's gaze dropped to the ground and then to the side. She was often quite unnerved when she wasn't in control of things. It was far from her liking. For a moment, she remained deep in thought and decided to loosen up a little. Her general frustration seemed to have been getting the best of her. She was shaken out of her contemplative reverie when he had completed his purchase and made his way to the door.
Celeria shrugged subtly, letting out a faintly noticeable sigh. She turned around and followed him out of the shop. The city still appeared asleep. Feeling as if she ought illustrate her point, she spoke to him, whilst looking away:
"It's a matter of principle. I don't expect you to understand."
With her eyes still locked in the distance, she waited to see how he would proceed. Her uneasiness seemed to have toned down a little, though she was still on her guard.

He smiled alittle as he began to float into the air once more. When she came out and spoke he thought for a moment. " We shall see about that. Tell me about it on the flight and i'll see if I can understand it at least on some level. " He turned and looked at her for a moment. Why she was acting this way he didn't know but hoped it wasn't because of him....too much. Once he was in the air he headed for the limits of the city.
" Hope you can keep up. " Was all he said as he began adding power and speed to his path of flight. Well above the city now for a clear shot into the now heavily wooded outlands. This would be a decent test then at least. So all that was left was her and to test her abilities. He hoped this would end well and wanted to hear her point of veiw on things.

She blasted off into the air right after him, not even paying attention to his subtle provocation. They were storming over the city and making their way across what seemed to be a forest. She knew this area vaguely, but she felt far from lost. Celeria wasn't in the mood for conversation all of a sudden. To his question, she directed only the following:
"There is a certain sense of dignity that must be upheld at all times. Without it, we saiyans become little more than animals, leaving us the target for mockery and even manipulation." She would not go into details. The truth behind the matter was that she was very much discontented with the current level of average saiyan self-discipline. Increasingly, she felt that the great potential of her race was wasting away.
A few moments later, she noticed his eyes tracing along the forest. It did not take her long to deduce that he must be wishing to test her somehow. This had made Celeria somewhat disgruntled. Looking forward and closing her eyes, she composed herself and calmly spoke:
"I stood against you near your maximum. What more could you want? " - she slowly opened her eyes and looked at him as her lips drew into a smirk. "I'm not going to give you the pleasure of my dancing to your tune. So when are you actually going to tell me where are we going?"

He laughed alittle but listened to what she said. It was apparent she was upset or not content with something. Most likely the way he saw and wished to do things. He found the place he wanted. A large clearing with a single massive tree in the center. Far from the city and secluded enough for his tastes he stopped dead and let himself fall. Only a foot from the ground he was before giving a burst of power to stop himself and land softly.
He waited for her to join him and he laughed alittle more. " I can't carry a tune to save my life, but seeing you dance may be interesting indeed. Although i think doing that would drive me even more wild for you. Since we are here I suppose you are ready for what I have planned. " He stretched and looked her over again. " Today I wanted to spend time with you, to get to know you and to begin our training at the same time. First of all speed and mental capabilities for combat. Yesterday you gave me a good show of your potential...and you seem to have what I don't. And I have what you don't. This is part of the day I have planned. Although most of the planning at this moment is.....on the fly. "

Landing gracefully, Celeria stood up had a look around. Raising an eyebrow, she found herself questioning what had made him choose this site. She herself wasn't quite fond of such seemingly sentimental outings.
"Why again could we have not discussed this back in my apartment?" - Celeria muttered as she took a few steps forward. He had expressed his wish to know her better as well as commence the much-needed training. She stopped in her tracks and turned around:
"Isn't that sweet. But just one problem there. How do you plan to test speed and mental capabilities on a picnic site?" - Celeria smiled sourly, resting her hand on her hip and continuing: "As much as I admire the scenery, it's hardly training material." With her eyes still fixed upon him, she was curious as to how he would proceed.

He only smiled at her. This spot was open enough to practice speed and mental practice. She had yet to see that. " First lesson will be to learn to see the potential in all things. " He crossed his arms as he placed the few things that he had bought there by the tree. He sighed and stretched and loosened up.
" At max power, just going from one end to the other of this area with the tree as its mid point would be interesting. No room to hide save for that tree. Now you have a gift it seems for being able to think outside the box and for sneak attack. But you have yet to learn how to sense power levels and how to focus your own quickly enough to protect or attack. My gift is battle and power. But being sneaky and clever is not. "

Celeria stood motionless, with her eyes locked upon him. Without moving, she lifted up her left hand and slipped off her scouter, tossing it to the side. Within a second, she erupted with the full potential of her energy, hovering up into the air due to the sheer pressure exerted upon the ground which now suffered a most noticeable depression. Celeria had a differing opinion on training itself and she was about to make him aware of it.
"I don't believe it works that way. No one can teach you battle experience, no one can increase your power for you. Similarly, no one can teach you how to use your opponent's strengths and weaknesses against them." She touched down and slowly started walking towards him. The grass waved wildly from the waves exerted by Celeria's blazing aura. "No one can tell you how to survive, how to achieve the upper hand. Either you've got it, or you don't. The only way both mental and physical heights can be reached is through... practice." Celeria smirked slyly as she powered down, her hair slowly sliding back over her cheeks. However, her smirk faded away soon enough and a heavily serious air surrounded her.
"My goals are higher than this. I have little time to waste. I don't tell my story to just anyone, only to those whom I feel I can trust... and count on."

He watched and listened to her. He had once thought the way she did but he had been in enough battles and training to know better. He gave her a soft nod when she finished speaking. " Celeria....anyone can be taught how to use an opponents weakness and strength against them. Having the knowledge is half of being able to do it. I mean no disrespect to you in the least. You gave me a very high run for the prize yesterday. But I have learned that there are no absolutes in battle. Anything and everything is possible in training and in battle. I know I have yet to earn your trust but please beleive me in what i'm trying to impart to you. "
He sighed and locked his eyes on hers. He took afew extra steps forward and stoped afew inches away. " Your power is increased through training, through battle. But the mind is improved by knowledge. " He pulled out a peice of clothe and handed it to her. " Cover your eyes and then clear your mind. This way you can hear nothing but what I say and the world around you. "

Her eyes went from his face, to the potential blindfold and back again. Still eye to eye, Celeria reluctantly took the piece of cloth and tied it around her eyes. She felt genuinely uneasy about surrendering herself this way, or at least, she saw it as surrender. Trying to shake off the feeling of submission, she looked to the positive outcomes this may bring. Should she indeed learn how to read power levels without the aid of a scouter, it would mean immense advantage in future battles.
Shrugging ever so subtly, she rested her arms at her sides as her face expressed her uneasiness. Soon enough, as her other senses heightened somewhat, she completely composed herself and inquired: "Alright, now what...?" She wondered if he would fight her this way or something along those lines. She was curious about the method he would use to help her sense his energy.

He nods when she placed the blindfold on. This was a good start at least. He let himself vanish and appear a decent distance away. He powered up and formed a large orb of ki. This he let hover in mid air as he returned to where she stood. " Now then, clear your mind of all thoughts. Focus on the sensation of energy, how it feels when it runs through you. Listen to the sounds of nature around you. "

Celeria was already attuned to her surroundings by the time he began speaking to her. She was puzzled by his mildness. It was strange to her that a saiyan could behave this way. Shrugging off those thoughts, she began increasing her focus. She couldn't count on her scouter, so she would have to attempt alternative means at detecting energy. Celeria slowed her breath, breathing deeply and evenly. In the back of her mind, a trace of uneasiness still lingered. However, she wouldn't pay it any notice, so long new and helpful abilities came out of all this.
She felt the wind caressing her cheeks and the shimmer of leaves was all she could hear. Celeria was keen on getting this right, reading power levels and subduing her own effectively might prove essential for what lay ahead. Thus, she aggravatingly set aside her nagging pride and attempted to keep her mind open. Expecting some sort of attack with each passing second, she began feeling quite tense.

" Now, remember how it feels to form energy, remember what it felt like when my attacks came at you. Relax, remember, and focus. Find the energy that I have set for you. " He spoke softly so as not to distract her too much. But he watched her, and saw the tension still running through her. If she couldn't let herself be open and trusting then this would take awhile. But even then, he knew she would be able to pick this up easy enough given her mental ability.
He stood just behind her, his own power level supressed enough it wouldn't be noticed first. He watched her still as she focused and he smiled. Such a beautiful fighter she was and he sighed. He had his work cut out for him if he continued to allow her to get into his head like this. But more to the point, she had proven a challenge to him. Even as weak as she was compared to him she was something else. He only hoped he could earn what he wanted from her and to give her what she desired as well.

Celeria kept her composure well enough. For a good while, she still felt nothing. In the next few moments, she was wondering whether she would ever really be able to feel it. Then, she raised her left arm and spread her fingers. The direction was initially off from the location of the ki by some 90 degrees. She stood completely motionless as the entire atmosphere seemed to still. She saw faint shapes of light, or at least, they seemed to be. Soon enough, they clarified and she saw both the orb, and his own energy, suppressed and faint. She then motioned her head slightly downwards and saw herself - her power level wasn't hidden, thus the shine was brighter. With her eyes closed, ki was all she saw. The moment captured her in rapture.
The very next second, she sharply motioned her arm 90 degrees back and fired a ki blast, which impacted his own with due precision, resulting in a slight explosion. The sound of it and the subsequent wave of energy it emanated made Celeria smirk. It truly felt unlike any other ability, though she was curious as to whether she could improve its application - she would not have this much time to focus in real battle conditions. However, the first step was made and it was time for improvement. She stood up straight, lifted her head and slowly slipped off the blindfold. Her eyes immediately traced to him as her smirk subtly widened.

He smiled as he watched her. He was suprised that she was able to focus on it this quickly. But the real challenge was to remember what it felt like and then to repeat it faster. When she destroyed the orb he smiled more shaking his head. Finally she removed the blindfold and looked at him with a rather large grin. " Don't be so grin happy. You did good picking up on it so fast. But now the hard part. Replace the blindfold and find me. "
He disappeared and reappeared just out of sight and let his power rise just alittle. At least this way she would have a target to find and one that could move. Time to see how fast her mind could process the knowledge. And to see just how fast she could adapt to knew skills and work them.

Celeria chuckled lightly and tied the blindfold back on. It was time to show him a little something. He had been so keen on testing her speed thus far, as he had not had the chance to see its full extent back on the battlefield. She had also deemed it likely he'd forget to take into account the increase of her abilities. Earlier on, he mentioned wishing to know more about cunning strategies. She was about to fulfill his wish.
She picked up his location even sooner than she herself expected. For a moment, she felt as if there was a catch to this energy sensing. Regardless, she could see his movement clearly. Since her very fighting beginnings, she had been gifted as a warrior. Perhaps those talents could be pushed to greater heights. She ceased her contemplation there and decided to carry out her move. Apparently uncertain, she took a cautious step forward. However, surprisingly enough, she disappeared the very next moment. Only a few moments would pass before she reappeared behind him, swiftly slipping off the blindfold and tying it over his eyes. She then disappeared once more and returned back to where she was initially. Celeria powered up significantly so he would have no problem noticing the trajectory she had made - across the field, between the trees and back again. She smirked subtly.
"That ought to show you." - her eyes gazed in his direction as the satisfaction with her little maneuver refreshed her. She now felt completely relaxed.
