Willow laid back as the maids approached to help remove her ruined clothes and get her cleaned so the doctor could bandage her. "I think if the one who did this wanted to kill her he had the chance but refrained. From what I can tell she must have walked in as it happened. He wound have grabbed her arms and even lifted her face with a hand to leave those light ice burns. One of your guards also saw what happened and he's confirmed that's exactly what he saw but even better... who did it..." the doctor said as the guard nodded. "It was Talon... I recognized him." the guard answered.

He looked over at the gaurd and he curled his hands into fists. His mind raced into overdrive as heat washed over and out from him. Within moments he shook his head clear and forced himself back into a more calmer state. " Send one messanger into the ice realm. Have him bring back the hunting party. Once they get back prepare a messenger for each kingdom. I'll have a message and orders ready once they have returned. " He turned back to his wife and sat beside her, just enough out of the way for the doctor to keep working.
" I am tired of this, all of this and one way or another it ends and soon. " He sighed as he looked at Willow. " Begin preperations for a complete changing of staff for the palace. Things are going to change alot around here. And get me a temple healer. This palace needs a cleansing. And I want all of this ready and done by the end of this week. " His tone left no room for argument or questions. He had finally been pushed beyound any limit he had left. If things didn't clear up soon then he would close his borders to all outsiders with very few exceptions.

Willow's fire burns and frost burns where cleaned and bandaged for her. The guard who had witnessed everything gave as much detail as he could but it was clear from the story that Willow was not the target because if she was she would be dead. It was mentioned the ice drathir called the young prince by his father's name and that he was most likely jumped from behind when it happened. The young prince from behind was often mistaken for his father and from how Willow was unable to cry a warning first most like came onto the scene in time to see the boy just impaled by the ice and his attacker must have jumped at her to issue some sort of warning because when the guard came he fled the way he came. It was too late for the young life that had been lost, but he was obviously not the target, Novakon was an horribly mistaken for his father. Now his son was dead and his daughter was still missing with a good chance she was dead and buried somewhere in the deep snow of the ice domain.

He gave a nod to the gaurd in thanks for his details. He sighed and looked at Willow, the bandages didn't look good on such a beautiful woman. He was barely containing his rage at the moment and for her sake alone he was staying calm. But it wouldn't last long and he was hopeing she would wake and have the strength to contain him. He never did have it in him to do such himself. That was always his problem it seemed. But he had things to do as well and plans to put into motion.

The guards and the maids left the room, moving to prepare the hall for cleaning and cleansing of the palace. The doctor made sure Willow was stable before leaving the room himself. She was covered in only a sheet, not even dressed under it so they wouldn't irritate her burns by moving her too much. Thankfully the minimal burns to her chest and stomach weren't very severe like the hands and arms were. She uttered a soft groan as she tilted her head ever so slightly, beginning to come around though her head still swimming in the nightmare of what transpired before her eyes, and how she was unable to stop it.

He lay beside her, caressing her gently as he focused on her. He had to direct his thoughts to one thing and one thing only in order to remain beside her. He couldn't make that mistake again, not this time or ever again. So he watched her and forced himself to relax and wait for her to awaken. Hearing her soft moans he wondered if she was having bad memories of what had just happened. So just in case he tried to comfort her the best he could.
" Willow it's alright. I know you are afraid but you mustn't be now. It would only put undo stress on you and our child. Please love, clear your mind of those thoughts and return to happy ones. I know it's selfish but I need your strength now more than ever. " He traced her jawline slowly, softly as his eyes watched her beautiful face. His heart struck hard within his chest as he watched her, waiting for her. IF only she could beleive him and trust in what he said and felt. He was a fool to keep bringing up his past and allowing her to feel that way.

Willow's eyes fluttered open hearing him speaking to her. She turned her head slightly to look over at him though winced in the slight pain from the ice burn on the side of her neck where the ice drathir had rested his cold hand. "...Nova..." She whimpered for her beloved husband as she saw him laying beside her. "Nova... I hurt" She said softly as the memory of what happened flashed before her eyes. "Oh... Goddess... he's dead" She said lifting her bandaged hands to her face as she felt tears burning in her eyes.

He reached up and stopped her hands from moving. He managed a warm smile as he leaned in and kissed her tenderly. " don't move too much. The burns are still fresh and healing. Just rest love and try to keep your mind clear. I'm sorry for getting so upset and leaving you like that. " He brushed the tears away from her cheeks slowly and softly. He made sure that she was comfortable and wasn't in too much pain. " I wish all of this never happened and would stop. " He continued to caress her softly, making sure not to hurt her.

Willow started to sob softly her tears continued to roll down her rosy cheeks as Novakon tried to console her. "Nova... Nova I'm sorry... I'm so sorry. I'm sorry Nova there was nothing I could do." She cried as she tried to reach out to him as she leaned towards him. She felt awful, she felt like she failed him and her step son whom she had grown fond of and whom had grown fond of his new mother.

He moved closer and held her tenderly. He didn't want to cause her any pain so he kept a soft touch at all times. Something though....snapped inside him and he smiled warmly and gave her a tender kiss. " Willow, it's alright. There was nothing that could have been done. All we can do now is live on. To continue with our lives and make sure our child has a good future. You aren't to blame for any of this so hush now and rest. "

She shook her head, "No it's not okay!" She gasped getting herself worked up because she had never witnessed a horrible crime before. On top of everything the victim was her step son and she herself was also a victim. "He was my son too... How can you... be so okay..." She cried before burrowing her face into his chest. She didn't even want to speak of it again, though the images of the memories where playing over again and again in her mind. She shook her head slightly just letting out all of her tears.

He held her closely and smiled. If she looked closely enough she would see the change in him. His eyes were blank, as was his face. But even deeper lay rage so wound up that it was just waiting for the right moment to crack the surface. He was barely in control anymore and was doing all he could to comfort her. He leaned in and kissed her tenderly as she cried into his chest.

Willow couldn't handle it, eventually crying herself into a deep sleep. Maids helped prepare for the burial of their prince, preparing a place right beside his mother. It truly was a sad day, the sun didn't even come out from behind the dark clouds. The whispers in the hall of how soon both Novakons children would be buried beside their mother, and all traces of his life with the gentle and kind Kitiara would be gone. All that remained now was his new bride Willow and the line he would be starting with her. The feeling was somber in the palace and though it was being prepared to be cleansed of it's spirits the sadness of Kitiara's spirit could be felt by everyone as he son joined her in unrest.

He lay with her, hands caressing her gently as he simply stared into nothing. Inside he was dead to the world and ready to tear the world apart with his bare hands. Just so he could put his hands on the one responsible for all of this. Talon must pay and pay athousand times over for the pain he has caused. He began to wonder...if the drathir was also the one that had instigated the poinsoning of his wife and daughter.
He didn't sleep one second during the night. Too wired with anger for what had happened. When morning came he left her side for half an hour exactly to finishe preparing his sons body and to dress him. With that done he placed his son in a polished magma rock coffin to go beside his wife. With this done he allowed his personal honor gaurd to carry his son to the receiving chamber to allow the people to mourn him. While that went on he returned to her side and with false hope forced himself to smile and try to comfort her.

Willow was awake and sitting up on her own the next day. She even found the strength to get out of bed and tip toe to the window to look out into the garden where her step son was being prepared for burial, right beside his mother. Sadness enveloped her seeing it, her bandaged hands resting against the window sill. She turned hearing footsteps in the hall and she rushed back to bed and sat down on it once more just in time for Novakon to enter the room. Her eyes met his but she knew he was dead inside, also not wanting him to see her up moving around which would only make her worry.
