Kryon walked around for awhile after they had landed. He still couldn't beleive that this was home...that this was Ryu his world, his life, the place he thought never to see again. Everything had been restored, to to a point it seemed before the war. Dale and his wife had left for the palace, and the people here were alive and well and living their lives normally it seemed. He made his way now through the city, heading for the central community where his family had lived. What would he find there now?
He didn't want to know that answer. Would all of his family be alive? Would they be here waiting to see him? Or were only the members of his family that didn't die be here? He didn't know how those dragonballs worked and wasn't sure he wanted too. He could only hope for the family he knew to be here and be alive and well. He had lost one member of his family and with them split apart he had developed a split personality. Not like it mattered now anyway because that was something he couldn't change of fix right now if at all. But first things first at least.
He made one last turn and began to move up a flight of stairs. These stairs lead to a double sided housing complex for middle class families. He reached the first floor where his family lived and moved to the left. First door on the left on the first floor. One of the three largest areas in this complex. He stopped at the door and listened, trying to see if anyone was home before he tried to enter. Why he did this was beyond him because well...this was his home after all. He didn't hear anything so he tried the door. Locked as it always had been when the family was away, sleeping or didn't want to be disturbed.
He knelt down and in a secret place made by his father he removed the spare key, unlocked the door and returned the key to its hiding place. Standing up he stepped into the house, closeing the door behind him. Home at last...after so many years. He looked around the house, the same as it was before they all had left. He breathed in and out slowly and then began to walk through the house he had missed for so long.

Everything was there in its place. It was all as he remembered it had been before that day...that dreadfull night that destroyed his entire world. He swallowed back feelings of rage, anger, pain, despair and much more. To loose himself now would be for nothing and would cause only more of what he disliked. So for now he had to remain calm, detached from all that was his home, his life so long ago. To do so is hard enough when you had no choice, but willingly, when it was there to touch and feel and see was even worse.
Room to room he went, looking and remembering. Much more time had been spent here than in his time amoung the stars. But in that time away he had changed and some places....not for the better. Would he find a welcomeing family as he hoped? Or would he find a family that did not want anything to do with such a wild minded man as he had become? Or even worse...would he find no one here at all? If that happened he knew it wouldn't end well...not for him. So he went on his walk, looking at everything, hoping to find something, someone here that would bring stability back into his life.

It took him all of half an hour to explore his home. Nothing was there....not one peice of evidence that some one was here. Was everything all a lie? Did his prince actually fail in what was supposed to be the best thing for the planet? He made his way back outside then, closed the door and sat on the front steps to think. How long had it been since the wish was made? And the travel time in between the planets? Did wishes take so long or did they become instant. He held his face in his hands, resting his elbows on his knees as he thought about this.
The more he thought the more he became angry. The more angered he became the more he focused on the one that had told him this was supposed to be a good homecoming. His hands began to shake and he looked up as a single tear formed and rolled down his cheek. He knew he had lost one family member before they evacuated the planet and that his parents and sister still lived. Then why weren't they here? There was one that seemed to know more about this than anyone so far and that was Saberhaven. He stood and began makeing his way through the streets, heading right for the palace.

As he walked he noticed many people slowly appearing here and there. These people didn't seem to notice him as they came near him or passed him. He tilted his head alittle at this, wondering what and why this was happening. He continued his path for afew moments more before he stopped. He was halfway down the street area where he lived when a thought hit him. If they were all appearing now, then maybe his family will do so as well. He smiled and turned around with that little hope and headed back for home.
He was hoping now, that if everyone was appearing then his family would appear home soon. Which means he had to wait alittle. He looked around and saw many more people now. They all had looks of confusion and bewilderment. This was a suprise to them, being back on a planet they thought destroyed. Having there lives turned upside down, and then rightside up all over again. That in itself made him alittle aggravated at their prince for this little stunt. He would still head for the palace later to confront him and then maybe try and pick up where he had once left off. To become a head gaurd for the royal family was something he wanted for a long time.
When he made his way back home he walked up the steps and sat down on the top one. He faced out to the walkway and watched more and more people come and go. Families appearing and returning to homes long lost and abandoned. Then the noise started coming in, crying and shouting and all other forms of noise. These people were so happy and overjoyed now that they shock of what had happened sank in completely and they found their voices. For some reason this really tickled his darker side and annoyed him. With this noise and the sight of all these people coming and going he began to grow impatient, wondering when his family would appear.

Kyron held his head low as he sat there on the steps of his home. His family was nowwhere to be seen and now he was begining to wonder if they would ever show up. To have gotten so worked up with hope that was most likely false was a foolish thing to have done. He sighed and shook his head as he slowly made it back to his feet. He had waisted too much time waiting.
He turned his upper body to the right just enough to look at his home. A home he had long cast away in his mind. Knowing he most likely would never see it again. But things had changed, people were alive and back on a reborn planet. But still....it appeared he would be left alone and broken. This he did not know if he could handle much longer. Every day it seemed he grew more and more tired of fighting to control the personalities within his own mind. Would it ever come to an end?
He sighed and turned back to face the street infront of his home. He began to walk back down the steps, heading for the street. Time to head for the palace, to try and make something out of this at any rate. He stopped when he came to the end of the walkway. There, in front of him stood three people. A man and a woman holding hands, and another younger woman. He swallowed as their faces hit his mind, his memory. They had changed so much since had last seen them. But none the less he knew them, knew who they were all too well. His family, his mother, his father and his sister. They were here and alive!

Despite himself he rushed forward to meet his family. His father and mother as well as his younger sister met him halfway. He knew his older brother had died but he was glad that he had a family left. He opened his arms and took his father, mother and sister into a hug. Having them all together was so wonderfull. He couldn't be any happier than he was now. He began talking with them as he took them up the walkway to the house.
Once inside they sat down and began to catch up on what had been happening. His sister had increased her own skills in the medical arts as well as gardening. She had been well cared for while with freinds and he smiled. It was a good thing he had placed her with good freinds. His parents had been working on a salvage ship after they had left. They moved from place to place untill they had managed to find more of their people together and settled down to try and get back into a regular life. It was wonderfull. AFter they had remained silent for awhile when father and mother had learned about their son. They also became worried when he informed them of his....mental state of being. All in all though they had a rather wonderful time together. Each finally falling asleep in the living room from talking on into the night.

For once in his life since they had all split apart and he had his mind split he slept peacefully. Nothing stirred in his mind, nor in his heart and soul. He found himself in a well deserved sleep. Surrounded by a family he had thought never to see again. His sleep was restfull and full of happiness finally as he began to think about his future. He had to return to the palace and see about resuming his training as a palace gaurd. But mostly he had to see the prince, to thank him. He shifted alittle in his sleep and sighed deeply.
The hours passed slowly from night to early morning and from early morning to mid morning. He finally awoke to the smells of a large breakfast being made. Wonderfull memories long dead resurfaced. Life was certainly back in one peice for his family. He stood and went to his room to get himself a fresh set of clothes. From there he showered and dressed before heading to the kitchen to join the rest of his family. Here they talked more over a large breakfast and then he stood to leave. They knew what he wanted to be and they themselves had to try and return to their own personal lives. But for him he left the house and began heading for the palace.

There was so much to do now that things were somewhat normal. He had to try and return to a stable routine. That was his return to training to be a palace gaurd. He had once been halfway through that training or close to it when everything was lost. Would he be able to continue? To pick up where he had left off in his training? Probably not, not after so long. He would most likely be denied or have to start all over again. At any rate though it would be worth trying.
He thought hard and long as he walked the familiar streets. He was suprised that he had remembered these streets so well. Kyron smiled to himself as he looked around, watching the poeple that had been wished back slowly resuming lives that had been so wrongly destroyed. Remembering those times brought his anger up slowly. He shook his head and breathed as he fought back that anger. It wouldn't be wise to loose himself now, infront of all of these people. Now more than ever he had to control his different personalities. What would happen though...when he arrived at the palace? He had left the ship so quickly once they landed he didn't know the others had been detained.

Kyron walked with a mildly brisk pace. The sooner he got to his destination the better. But he was beside himself with joy. Everything was getting back to normal, slowly but it was there. Nothing would be the same of course but this was a start. Maybe now, he would be able to control himself alot better. Wishfull thinking that was. Nothing that causes that kind of trauma is controllable. All he had to focuse on was keeping himself the stronger of the personalities.
That in itself would be hard. Since all of them were him in essence. Although his third personality wasn't that strong which wasn't that odd. Part of him didn't wish to fight or get involved with anything. But that one had a stronger mentality to be able to wait and take control. His darker side on the otherhand....a lustfull soul for his personal deisre for battle. IT also freed him of his sense of right and wrong to a larger degree. And then himself as he is now. Calm, collected, and observant at all times. Able to think and work things out before pulling any kind of stunts or opening his mouth at the wrong time.
Anyway, that was behind him. Time to focus on what he needed and wanted. To finish his training and become a palace gaurd. The perks were good, and the pay as well. But it was an honor he wished more than anything. To be a gaurd to the royal family was something he had dreamed of since he was a child. To do that he had to train and finish the academy training. For that he had to meet the royal family or anyone there that would be in charge. When he looked around and focused on the world around him he was suprised.
All the time he had been thinking he had kept walking. And somehow by pure latent memory he had walked the streets to the palace. He was now walking up the main steps that would lead into the front lobby. From there you either went left or right or were lead to your destination. The gaurds would be on him just as soon as he entered that lobby as well. Should he mention the fact he had come on the ship with the prince? He would soon find out he guessed as he set foot into the main lobby.
End of thread.))
