Lady Lilithian was bored. So She was going to do something about it. The demon realm in which she lived had given her all the beginning training and entertainment she needed, but now it was time to actually find something more. To make herself stronger, and more prepared for the higher levels of life in the demon realm. So she decided to head for the few portals that lead to the other realms of the universe. One in particular was her target. Earth. So many things to explore, places to see, foods to try, and the beings there....oh she could positively taste the desires each had during their waking and sleeping hours. There were many to sample, to use against their owners. But where should she go once she stepped through that portal? A portal took you to the realm it was connected to, but you had to guide it to a specific location. Thinking about this had kept her occupied while she made the trip to the earth realm portal. Once there she grinned and finally made her choice. With some help of course. There was a city that had a rather interesting name. Satan City, named after some earthling that seemed to be a martial arts hero. So that was going to be an interesting turn of things, and provided a good starting point.
Arriving at the portal she smiled looking it's arcane design over slowly. A massive stone and bone decorated arch-way. Carved with runes, lit by oil lamps. A black void stood in it's opening. All of them were of similar design, and marked almost the same way. But each took you to a different realm. The true problem...returning through that same portal on the other side. She removed a small demon fang from a pouch she had brought with her. She had tied it with a simple leather strap to fashion it into a necklace for when she needed to return. But first...to enchant it. Kneeling by the gate she rolled the entire thing in the dirt at the bast of the arch-way, then dusted it off loosely before passing it through the lit lamp nearest her. Chanting lightly the entire time. Finally finished she wrapped it around her hand before stepping into the darkness. Four steps in she was encased in darkness, two more steps and she was standing on a sidewalk. It was evening it seemed, but she was now in Satan City. She breathed in the air, deeply, slowly. Wrinkling her nose at the odd smells of a city. She could tell the difference between her realm and this one. Fresher, more fragrant. But this city held little in freshness. Stale and overly used. But that was only at first.
Food smells, flowers, and the cologne and perfume's soon came as well. Closing her eyes she enjoyed the smells, so far from the fire and cold dark scents of the demon realm. After a few moments she turned slowly in place, getting her bearings for when she would have to return for the trip home. Once done, she slipped the charm into it's pouch once more and then began to walk. Time to learn about this city, and about it's diversions. Maybe she would find some fun as well.
