There are 2 ways to battle they are the following: ( All battles are ended based upon how many hits you take. If the stipulation says first to give 10 hits wins once you’ve been hit 10 times the battle is over and the other player wins )
PL+dice roll –[/u] This method is simple you take the number of your PL ( without the 0's ) and add it to the Dice Roll number.
EXAMPLE: [/u] You roll a 5 on a 6 sided dice and your PL is 40,000 it would be 5+40= 45. In this method if you have a much lower or higher PL then your opponent you may want to increase the sides of the dice such as 10, 20, 50, or 100 sides to make it more of a fair fight. Remember the dice sides must be in your stipulations when you challenge someone to battle.
EXAMPLE: [/u] Your PL is 40,500, simply remove the 500 so it would be 40 + Dice. Lets say your rolling a 6 sided dice your number can be from 1 to 6. You roll the Dice to attack and the number is 4, it would be 4 + 40 = 44. Your opponent's PL is 43,000 and the dice gives them a 2 to dodge your 44. His would be 2 + 43 =45. 45 is higher then 44 so he would dodge your attack.
EXAMPLE: [/u] Timmy’s PL is 40,000 his number to add to the dice roll would be 40. Timmy attacks John and his dice rolls him a 4, so timmy adds them together 40+4= 44. John needs to roll to dodge he has an PL of 42,000 so his number to add to the dice roll would be 42. John rolls the dice and it gives him a 3, he adds his dodge roll 3 to his PL 42 + 3 =45. Timmys attack was 44, John’s dodge was 45, 44 is lower than 47 so John’s character dodges.
For every hit a person takes you nock off 1,000pl from your modifier.
EXAMPLE:[/b] If Timmy had hit john by his total number being higher, John's 42 would become 41. This number would decrease until there is no PL left or if stipulated in the battle first to 10 hits wins would loose after being hit 10 times.
Just Dice Roll – [/u]This is the easiest form of battle. Here you don’t use your PL. You simply use the Dice roll number to determine if you hit or miss. This is what we call a "Hit Battle" Stipulations must include how many hits a person can take before they loose.
EXAMPLE: [/u] Sid rolls a 6 sided dice and gets a 4 this 4 represents his attack number. His opponent Greg rolls a 5 to dodge. Naturally 5 is higher then 4 meaning Sid’s attack missed. After every dodge in the same post the dodger can counter attack. So Greg dodged with a 5. after his dodge roll post sid posts how his character dodged the attack and then at the end counter attacks by attacking Sid back adding the dice roll to the end of his post. Then it's Sid's turn to post a dodge roll.
Prizes: [/u] every challenge allows the challenger to offer a prize to the winner. You may be allowed to stipulate up to 500 Zenny as a prize
